Michael D. Rebock, D.O., FACOS

Dr. Michael Rebock is the founding partner of Oakland Surgical Specialists. He completed his medical school training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1991. He later completed a general surgery residency at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He is board certified in general surgery. He has extensive knowledge and skill in all aspects of general surgery including breast, colorectal, minimally invasive surgery, and endoscopy. He also serves as the Director of Trauma at Botsford Hospital, a Level II trauma center. He has been very active in hospital administration where he served as chief of staff and as chairmen of numerous committees. He continues to remain an avid student of surgery and is interested in all of the latest technology and surgical techniques. He is committed to excellent outcomes and patient satisfaction.


Jeffrey R. Gerken, D.O., FACOS

Jeffrey R. Gerken, D.O., FACOS

Dr. Jeffrey Gerken completed his medical school training at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. He then went on to complete a general surgery residency at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He performs all aspects of general surgery including breast and colorectal surgery, hernia repairs, oncologic procedures, and endoscopy. Upon starting with Oakland Surgical Specialists in 2009, he began focusing on minimally invasive surgery. He is one of only a few surgeons in southeast Michigan trained in Davinci robotic surgery including single incision robotic cholecystectomies. He is actively involved with training residents and medical students from around the country and has served as the assistant program director for Botsford Hospital’s general surgery residency program for the last 3 years. He serves on various committees in the hospital and is focused on patient safety and outcomes. He is board certified in general surgery and recently received the distinction of Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.


Kelly A. Dinnan, D.O.

Kelly A. Dinnan, D.O.

Dr. Dinnan recently completed a fellowship in Trauma/ Critical Care at the University of California San Francisco at Fresno. Prior to her fellowship, she completed her medical school training at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006 and a general surgery residency at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. She is board certified in general surgery. Upon joining Oakland Surgical Specialists in 2013, she has been actively involved in residency training and numerous hospital committees. She was named the Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Botsford Hospital upon her graduation from fellowship. She is committed to expanding the services of the ICU and the progression of state-of-the-art surgical techniques for the practice. She has an uncompromising dedication to her patients and their outcomes.
